Volleyball Game Preview: Windsor Warriors vs. East Hartford Hornets

The Windsor Warriors will face off against the East Hartford Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Hartford took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Windsor, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Windsor narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, East Hartford faced Newington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Nor'easters.

While East Hartford ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 25-20.

East Hartford's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8. As for Windsor, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
