Soccer Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Maury's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Maury can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Menchville Monarchs on Friday. Maury were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the four contests prior), but Menchville's defense proved too tough.

Maury's goal came courtesy of Zoe Redel, who's now up to 19 this season.

Maury moved to 15-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Menchville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
