Basketball Recap: Bradford Takes a Loss

Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Franklin Monroe Jets, falling 68-33. The Railroaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-17.

Bradford's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5. As for Franklin Monroe, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Bradford won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Troy Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin Monroe, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Chesapeake at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chesapeake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Franklin Monroe likes a good challenge.
