Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Laila Henry and Kayla Huynh Lead Warde to Victory

Warde had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Ludlowe Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Falcons back in October, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Leading Warde to victory were Kayla Huynh and Laila Henry. Huynh had eight digs and four assists, while Henry had 11 digs and two blocks. Henry is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 47 games she's played dating back to last season.

Warde is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Ludlowe, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-4.

Coming up, Warde will take on Greenwich at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ludlowe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
