Basketball Game Preview: Jehovah-Jireh Warriors vs. Maurepas Wolves

Jehovah-Jireh is on a five-game streak of home losses, Maurepas a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Jehovah-Jireh Warriors will host the Maurepas Wolves at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Jehovah-Jireh was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 38-37 to Collegiate.

Meanwhile, Maurepas came up short against Family Christian on Friday and fell 54-41. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Flames are ranked 130th).

Jehovah-Jireh's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Maurepas, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-16.
