Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Sports Leadership & Management extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Dennis Pierre Jr.. The Sports Leadership & Management Giants simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Abundant Life Christian Academy Eagles 71-34 thanks in part to Pierre Jr., who posted 27 points and four steals. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Mason Plewinski, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Abundant Life Christian Academy lost, don't look at Dylan Lipskin. Despite the final result, he put up 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keston White-Marin, who had seven points.

Sports Leadership & Management's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Abundant Life Christian Academy, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

As for Abundant Life Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 72-67 win against Greenacres Christian on the 10th.
