Baseball Recap: Hillsdale Takes a Loss

If Hillsdale was riding high fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Washington on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fighting Knights came up short against the King's Academy Knights on Wednesday, falling 12-2. The Fighting Knights have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Hillsdale saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriel Urquidez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for King's Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

While Hillsdale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
