Volleyball Recap: Bellevue Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Julia Dauch and Emma Krall

Bellevue lost against Willard back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redmen fell just short of the Crimson Flashes by a score of 3-2. While the Redmen didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crimson Flashes 25-20 in the first set.

Bellevue started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 26-24, 15-12.

Bellevue's loss came despite strong showings from Emma Krall and Julia Dauch. Krall had 16 digs and three aces, while Dauch had eight digs.

With the loss, Bellevue broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Willard, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Bellevue will take on Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willard, they will face off against Vermilion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
