Cony posted their closest win since April 28, 2025 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lawrence Bulldogs, sneaking past 3-1. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered an 8-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Olivia Duplessis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Abby Brown was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Price, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Cony and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Lawrence, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Cony will venture away from home to square off against Winthrop at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence, they will host Winslow at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
