Baseball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short on the Road Against John Battle

Ridgeview had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 14-4 to the John Battle Trojans. If the Wolfpack were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ridgeview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Hill, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

John Battle now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will welcome Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for John Battle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Patrick Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
