Soccer Recap: Sylvania's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Sylvania was riding high fresh off their 5-2 takedown of Douglas last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams came up short against the Crossville Lions on Friday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Sylvania seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Sylvania's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Crossville, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-1.

Coming up, Sylvania is taking a road trip to take on Etowah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crossville, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Collinsville on the 5th.
