Volleyball Recap: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. Mica Mountain Thunderbolts
Patrick Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mica Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mia Parker, who had ten digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Annycia Arenas, who had ten digs.
Patrick Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Mica Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry's road trip will continue as they head out to face Point Loma at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mica Mountain, they will take on Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
