Softball Recap: Wolfe County Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Wolfe County never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Jackson City Tigers as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Wolves have won ten matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Wolfe County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Jackson City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Wolfe County will venture away from home to face off against Estill County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Engineers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. Jackson City has already played their next game (against Powell County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
