Basketball Recap: Winneconne Comes Up Short

Winneconne lost against Berlin back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Winneconne Wolves fell to the Berlin Indians 89-85. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (56), the Wolves still had to take the loss.

Winneconne dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Berlin, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Winneconne will take on St. Mary Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berlin, they will square off against Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th.
