Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Sacred Heart came up into this matchup off a tough 28-point loss last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Enterprise Yellowjackets by a score of 57-54 on Friday. The Crusaders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Sacred Heart lost, don't look at Raider Williams. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds. Williams' evening made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelan Irrizary, who put up ten points and five rebounds.

Sacred Heart's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8. As for Enterprise, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Sacred Heart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-27 victory against Salem on the 7th. As for Enterprise, they will welcome Resurrection Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
