Macksville won the last time they faced Stafford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs skirted past the Trojans 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Heidy Ortiz paced Macksville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Ortiz got some help from Anilu Hernandez and her 13 assists. Daniela Reyes-Holguin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Macksville's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Stafford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Macksville has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Pawnee Heights on the 20th. As for Stafford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Natoma on the 20th.
