North Kingstown extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 12-4 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Cranston West Falcons. The Skippers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

As for Cranston West, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Cranston West's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Barboza, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Cranston West will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Moses Brown at 4:30 p.m. North Kingstown will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' matchup: after the Falcons face off against the Quakers, they'll take on North Kingstown again at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
