Volleyball Game Preview: Belmont Sentinels vs. Burton Scorpions

The Belmont Sentinels will face off against the Burton Scorpions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Belmont is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against USC Hybrid by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: USC Hybrid scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 24-26, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Burton entered their tilt with Animo Watts on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Warriors 3-0.

Burton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Animo Watts between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-15.

Belmont's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Burton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
