Softball Recap: Palm Beach Central Takes a Loss

Palm Beach Central lost against Wellington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Palm Beach Central Broncos lost 13-2 to the Wellington Wolverines.

Palm Beach Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annabella Hamilton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Palm Beach Central's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Wellington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Central will host American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. American Heritage's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Palm Beach Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wellington, they are taking a road trip to take on Seminole Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Seminole Ridge will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
