Volleyball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Knights vs. Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras

Victory Christian Academy is 1-6 against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Knights will head out to take on the Cobras at 3:30 p.m. Victory Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Victory Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over High Tech Mesa, taking the game 3-1.

Victory Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Chula Vista Learning Community Charter got the win against Liberty Charter on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-7.

Chula Vista Learning Community Charter's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Victory Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

Everything went Victory Christian Academy's way against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter in their previous matchup back in September, as Victory Christian Academy made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
