Wray won the last time they faced Merino and Alex Trejo did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles came out on top against the Rams by a score of 44-34 on Saturday thanks in part to Trejo, who posted 14 points and six steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

The win got Wray back to even at 1-1. As for Merino, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wray will challenge Ulysses at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Merino, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
