Soccer Recap: Orion/Sherrard Beats Galena for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Orion/Sherrard kept a clean sheet against Galena on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Pirates. Adalynn Elsbury was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Orion/Sherrard, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Galena, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Orion/Sherrard will face off against DePue/Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Galena, they will challenge Dodgeville at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th. The game will give Galena their first taste of in-conference action this season.
