Families of Faith Christian Academy came into Friday's game looking for another win against Schaumburg Christian, but Giada Falco wouldn't allow it. The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Families of Faith Christian Academy Screaming Eagles 50-47 thanks in part to Falco, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Sarah Perfanov, who posted two points along with ten rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

Families of Faith Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilly Saltzman, who went 7-for-12 en route to 18 points. Alexis Huizinga was another key player, going 5-for-8 on her way to 13 points.

The win made it two in a row for Schaumburg Christian and bumps their season record up to 7-13. As for Families of Faith Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Schaumburg Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-43 defeat against Aurora Christian on the 15th. As for Families of Faith Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-22 victory against Marquette Manor Baptist Academy on the 18th.
