Soccer Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

If Centerville was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Muncie Central last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 9-0 to the Delta Eagles on Thursday. Centerville haven't had much luck with Delta recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Delta, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Centerville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Wapahani on the 7th. As for Delta, they will take on Jay County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
