Football Recap: Shawn Williams Leads Calvary Day's Defense on Friday + How To Watch

After losing to Oceanside Collegiate Academy the last time they met, Calvary Day decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Landsharks by a score of 59-49 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

Calvary Day didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Shawn Williams, Scottie Walker, and Emerson Lewis picked up one apiece.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Terence Johnson, who picked up 221 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Oceanside Collegiate Academy also got help from Tyler Garner, who showed off his sure hands for 100 receiving yards.

Calvary Day has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
