Valley Forge extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-7 in the process. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Olmsted Eagles. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Patriots' highest-scoring match to date.

Evan Tappe made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Steve Baker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

As for North Olmsted, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7. They haven't had any issues with Valley Forge recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

On North Olmsted's side, they got a massive performance out of Luke Healan, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Brett Zatta was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Valley Forge will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Fairview at 11:00 a.m. As for North Olmsted, they will face off against Brookside at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
