Baseball Recap: Marbury Comes Up Short

Marbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Jacksonville Golden Eagles, falling 8-1.

Marbury's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Jacksonville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Marbury will head out to challenge Bibb County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jacksonville, they will venture away from home to square off against Glencoe at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
