Volleyball Recap: Memorial Finds Playoff Glory Versus East Palestine

Memorial had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the East Palestine Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Red Devils were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Red Devils were just returning the favor.

Memorial never let East Palestine on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-22.

The victory made it two in a row for Memorial and bumps their season record up to 20-3. As for East Palestine, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Memorial will take on Lake Center Christian in a tournament on Monday. East Palestine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
