Stevenson is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Franklin on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Spartans were outmatched by the Patriots and fell 43-11. The Spartans have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The losing side was boosted by Tasso Kotsogiannis, who rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dearborn, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Wayne Memorial by a score of 29-21 on Friday. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Zebras recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Dearborn, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Stevenson came up short against Dearborn when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 48-42.
