Volleyball Recap: Ironwood Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Ironwood lost to Boulder Creek back in September of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jaguars.

Malaya Gibbs paced Ironwood's offense, picking up nine kills. Gibbs got some help from Ashley Logan and her 19 assists. Logan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Ironwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Boulder Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Ironwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Sunnyslope on the 5th. As for Boulder Creek, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Dobson on the 6th.
