Sacred Heart Prep pile up the points against Mountain View

Recap: Sacred Heart Prep Gators vs. Mountain View Spartans

The Sacred Heart Prep Gators won the last time they faced the Mountain View Spartans, and things went their way on Saturday too. Sacred Heart Prep took their game at home with ease, bagging a 50-17 victory over Mountain View. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-3.

Sacred Heart Prep had a senior duo take command as Jack Stevens rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries and Ravu Savali rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Savali really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run. Connor Lis was another key contributor, rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Sacred Heart Prep now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mountain View, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart Prep will square off against Menlo School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Menlo School will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to face off against Los Altos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Altos will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
