Basketball Game Preview: Manor Mustangs vs. Stony Point Tigers

Manor is 1-9 against Stony Point since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Manor Mustangs will head out to challenge the Stony Point Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Manor is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Round Rock, falling 63-42. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 576th, while the Dragons are ranked 67th).

Meanwhile, Stony Point didn't have too much trouble with Cedar Ridge on Friday as they won 53-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Stony Point's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-14. As for Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.

Manor came out on top in a nail-biter against Stony Point in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, sneaking past 46-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Manor since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
