Football Recap: Shepherd Pirates vs. Buffalo Bison
Shepherd was handed a two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Buffalo on Friday. The Shepherd Pirates breezed by the Buffalo Bison on the road to the tune of 52-22. With the Pirates ahead 36-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Preston Stephens was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 239 yards and five touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season. Jevaris Marsh was another key rusher, rushing for 53 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
He was just one part of a punishing run game: Shepherd was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 389 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Shepherd wouldn't let Buffalo keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Shepherd can thank Brayden White and Michael Weekes for forcing both of them.

Anderson-Shiro will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shepherd surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buffalo, they will take on Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
