Volleyball Game Preview: Arleta Mustangs vs. Verdugo Hills Dons

Arleta is 0-7 against Verdugo Hills since March of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Arleta is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Panorama.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Verdugo Hills came up short against Grant on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Dons have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

While Verdugo Hills was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Grant's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-18, 25-23.

Verdugo Hills now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Arleta, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
