Angleton was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Iowa Colony on Friday. Angleton was the clear victor by a 15-1 margin over Iowa Colony. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Angleton's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Iowa Colony, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Angleton will host Santa Fe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Iowa Colony, they will take on Ball at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Iowa Colony is facing Ball at the right time seeing as Ball is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
