Volleyball Recap: Marie Philip Comes Up Short on the Road Against International School of Boston

Marie Philip kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to International School of Boston.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-17.

Xavier DeLeon paced Marie Philip's offense, picking up three kills. DeLeon got some help from James Zellner and his four assists. Zellner was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marie Philip will take on rival British International at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, International School of Boston is set to square off against their familiar foe Marie Philip at 3:45 p.m. on April 28.
