Volleyball Recap: Hesston Beats Collegiate for Their Third Straight Win

Hesston waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Collegiate Spartans by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Swathers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hesston was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12.

Jacy Proctor paced Hesston's offense, picking up seven kills. Proctor got some help from Addyson 'AJ' Reif and her 23 assists. Finally, Proctor was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Hesston's victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Collegiate, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-17.

Coincidentally, Hesston and Collegiate will both be playing Neodesha the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Blue Streaks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Swathers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
