Softball Recap: Bellingham Bayhawks vs. Sehome Mariners

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 32-10 to the Sehome Mariners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bayhawks of the 25-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bellingham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Johnson, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. A Homolka was another, scoring two runs while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Bellingham's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sehome, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

This will be Mount Vernon's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Sehome, they will venture away from home to challenge Nooksack Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
