Basketball Recap: Copperas Cove Comes Up Short

Copperas Cove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harker Heights Knights. While losing is never fun, the Bulldawgs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Knights are ranked 157th).

Copperas Cove's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Harker Heights, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copperas Cove will face off against Killeen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harker Heights, they will take on Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
