While Yuma's victory against Brush wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Outlaws won by a set and slipped past the Beetdiggers 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Outlaws as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Yuma got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-10, 31-33, 15-10.

Berkley Nighswonger paced Yuma's offense, picking up ten kills. Nighswonger got some help from Bailey Nighswonger and her 19 assists. Bailey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Yuma's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Brush, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Yuma has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Stratton on the 27th. As for Brush, they will welcome Frontier Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
