Volleyball Recap: South Salem's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

South Salem waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the West Salem Titans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

South Salem was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-20.

Briella Mathis paced South Salem's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mathis got some help from Kamree Orizotti and her 35 assists. Avery Herber controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Salem's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for West Salem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Salem is set to take on their familiar foe McNary at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Salem will face off against rival Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
