Basketball Recap: Make It 11 in a Row for Brownstown

Brownstown extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Dayana Haslett. The Brownstown Bombers blew past the Arcola Purple Riders 57-33 on Friday thanks in part to Haslett, who posted 32 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Brownstown's points.

Brownstown's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Arcola, they moved to 9-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Brownstown and Marshall will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Arcola, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dieterich at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
