Basketball Recap: Henry Ford Academy Comes Up Short

Henry Ford Academy lost against Ecorse back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Henry Ford Academy Navigators took a blow against the Ecorse Raiders, falling 71-41. While losing is never fun, the Navigators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 641st, while the Raiders are ranked 304th).

Henry Ford Academy dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ecorse, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henry Ford Academy will head out to take on Annapolis at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ecorse, they will venture away from home to challenge East English Village Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
