Softball Recap: Bear River Bruins vs. Chavez Titans

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rio Americano, Bear River was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Chavez Titans 4-3.

Ana Marin Hemings spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits. Those hits were her first of the season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Monica Meszaros, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That run marked the first that she scored this season.
