Volleyball Recap: Appling County Finds Home Court Redemption Against Faith Baptist Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Appling County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Appling County easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-8.

Appling County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Faith Baptist Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at 17 games and leaves them with a 20-2 record.

Coincidentally, Appling County and Faith Baptist Christian Academy will both be playing Vidalia the next time they take the court. The Crusaders will head out to face the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
