Soccer Game Preview: Lorena vs. Splendora

The Lorena Leopards will be taking part in a tournament against the Splendora Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lorena's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lorena fell victim to Dayton and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Broncos.

Meanwhile, Splendora narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Stafford 2-1.

Splendora is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season. As for Lorena, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
