Basketball Recap: Elsberry Takes a Loss

If Elsberry was riding high fresh off their 42-20 takedown of Villa Duchesne last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Elsberry Indians fell to the Duchesne Pioneers 35-31. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Elsberry now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Duchesne, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elsberry will be home for the holidays to greet Clopton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Duchesne, they will host Howell North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
