            The Conrad Chargers are taking a road trip to  challenge the Pinkston Vikings  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Conrad is coming into the  match hot, having won their last three games.
Last Monday, Conrad narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Lincoln  2-1. Given the Chargers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings  (they are ranked 250th, while the Tigers are ranked 693rd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Pha Sat was the driving force of Conrad's attack as he scored both of Conrad's goals, bringing his season total up to 24 goals.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Pinkston). They were the clear victor by  a  9-1 margin over Madison on Monday. The  win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won eight in a row.
 Pinkston's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Conrad, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Conrad beat Pinkston 3-1  when the teams last played  back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Conrad since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
