Basketball Recap: Reedsport Comes Up Short

Reedsport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-38 loss at the hands of the Oakland Oakers. While losing is never fun, Reedsport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Oakland is ranked 41st).

Reedsport's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Oakland, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Reedsport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-40 victory against Myrtle Point on the 4th. Oakland has also already played their next matchup, a 45-40 loss against East Linn Christian Academy on the 1st.
