Basketball Recap: Alcoa Falls Short Against Ranked Loretto

Alcoa faced Loretto in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Alcoa fell just short of Loretto by a score of 68-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (59), the Tornadoes still had to take the loss.

Alcoa's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-6. As for Loretto, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 35-0.

As of now, neither Alcoa nor Loretto have any future games scheduled.
